Josepha Kuebeck, 92

Josepha Maria (Mitzi) Kuebeck, 92, a resident of Bowling Green, Ohio, and formerly of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away Monday at Claire Bridge Sterling House, Bowling Green.

Prior to her death, she was employed with the McCord Corporation in Wauseon. She was an avid hobbyist, enjoying cooking, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She began these pastimes early in her childhood and cultivated them throughout her life.

Mrs. Kuebeck was born May 14, 1921, in Vatra Moldovitei, Romania, to Philip and Wilhelmina (Gruen) Twardowski. On May 15, 1949, she married Robert Kuebeck in Meinersen, Germany. In 1956, she immigrated to the United States with her family. She settled in Wauseon and was a member of St. Caspar’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Edelbert J. Kuebeck, M.D.; a brother, Joseph; and two sisters, Elvira, and Agnes Schmitt.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rose Ellen Kuebeck; three grandchildren, Peter (Alyssa) Kuebeck, David (Rachel) Kuebeck, and Andrew Kuebeck, and one great-grandchild, Olivia Kuebeck, all of Bowling Green.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon on Thursday April 10, 2014 at 11:00am with Fr. David Bruning officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Caspar Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until service time.
