Joy Cagle, 48

Joy M. Cagle, age 48, of Bryan, Ohio, died unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, October 17, 2015, after a brief illness. Ms. Cagle grew up in the Northwood, New Hampshire area and graduated from Concord, New Hampshire High School. She enjoyed music and had studied music for some time following graduation from high school. A homemaker and doting mother, Joy also loved art, was an avid player of Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.

Joy M. Cagle was born on October 19, 1966, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, the daughter of Joseph J. and Linda M. (Mailloux) Carmody.

Survivors include her partners, Erica Cagle, for twenty-one years and Susan Cagle, for eight years, both of Bryan, her children, Arianna and Xander Cagle, of Bryan; her parents, Joseph and Linda Carmody, of Concord, New Hampshire; one brother, Shawn Carmody, of Concord, New Hampshire; a son, Brendan Patrick Carmody, in Florida; and numerous friends and adopted family. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph.

A memorial service for Joy will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Community, in Bryan with visitation for one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.

Memorials are requested to the family to help with expenses.
