Joyce A. Waterston, age 80, of Bryan, passed away, Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Fountain Park Inn & Villas in Bryan. Joyce worked as a beautician at Colonial Salon in Pioneer, a toll collector for the Ohio Turnpike, teller at Citizen’s National Bank and cashier at Yeager Market. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed painting, sewing, reading and spending time with her dog, Abby.
Born October 13, 1937 in Bryan, Ohio, she was the daughter of Hal C. and Agnetta (Pollock) Spire. She married Lee C. Trausch in Bryan on August 11, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1979.
Joyce is survived by her son, Anthony Trausch, of Lakewood, Ohio; daughters, Christina (Richard) Hupe, of Bryan, Ricki Ann (Michael) Drake, of Blaine, Minnesota and Melissa (Raymond) Ledbetter, of New London, Ohio; three grandchildren, Brycen and Ethan Hupe and Gabrielle Ledbetter and sister, Donna Sauder, of Archbold.. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Marcille Beals and Marjorie Schlosser and brother, D. Joseph Spire.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan with the graveside committal service held at 2:00 P.M. in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer.
