Juanita June Baldwin, age 89, of Wauseon, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. Prior to her retirement she had worked at the former Sheller-Globe in Wauseon for 22 years.
Juanita was born in Archbold on January 11, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Edna (Heer) Rupp. On June 22, 1945 she married Donald G. Baldwin, and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a member of the First Church of God in Wauseon. Juanita enjoyed bowling, reading, coloring and travel.
Juanita is survived by two sons, David C. (Betty) Baldwin of Bryan, Gary L. (Sandra) Baldwin of Toledo; three grandchildren, Heather A. (Paul Ryan) Powers, Daniel L. Balwin and Mark A. Baldwin. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Cassandra Stickney, Abigail Patrick and Tiernan Patrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, and one brother.
Visitation for Juanita will be held from 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, where the funeral will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Randy Trowbridge, officiating. Interment will follow in the Raker Cemetery, near Delta. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Fulton County Senior Center, Fulton Manor, or Wauseon Public Library.
