The annual Jubilee returns to downtown Bryan June 13-17. Amusement rides and food vendors will ring the courthouse square and there will be a number of special family fun events each day, as always, according to Dan Yahraus, executive director of the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce in meeting with county commissioners Thursday. Yahraus noted that the rides on the north side of the square will be set back on the north side of East High Street, as they were last year to accommodate the construction trailers for the courthouse renovation project. And though the trailers are gone, the rides will stay on the north side of the street. He added orange fencing will be employed again to keep people from certain areas near the courthouse for safety and to make cleanup easier.
