June Marie Crawford, 93 years, of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in her home. June was born June 20, 1927 in Jewell, Ohio, daughter of the late Harvey and Clara (Speiser) Thieroff. She was united in marriage to Garland “Duke” Crawford on July 1, 1950 in Defiance, Ohio and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2012. June was a homemaker and helped Duke care for the farm. She loved animals, nature and was a member of the National Audubon Society.
Surviving June is one son, Craig Crawford of Sherwood; two daughters, Marie (Paul) Hamman of Bryan and Lori Coy of Defiance; four grandchildren, Paul Milo (Sarah) Coy II, Cora (Todd Reasoner) Hamman, Sara (Jeremiah) Neighoff, and Leah (Bill) Cindle; great grandchildren, Camden, Chase, Lilly, and Jayden.
A private graveside service will be held in Sherwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel.
