Kalli J. Hug, age 57, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at 12:58 A.M. on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Promedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Kalli was a 1984 graduate of Edon High School and graduated from Columbus State with an associate degree in business. She had worked at Lazurus and Beneficial Finance for a number of years while living in Columbus and later moved back to this area. She had a passion for waitressing and enjoyed serving customers at Mohre’s and Four Seasons restaurants. She was a free spirit who loved nature, flowers, writing poetry, cooking, and music. Her greatest joy came from spending time with Nina, her dog, who was her constant companion and confidant. Their special bond was truely a lesson in unconditional love and trust. She will be greatly missed by her family and large circle of friends.
