Kathleen M. “Kitty” Tritch, age 85, of Montpelier, Ohio and formerly of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, passed away at 1:30 A.M. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, after an extended illness. Kitty was a devoted homemaker, wife and aunt and had been a longtime waitress. She attended the Montpelier Nazarene Church, enjoyed bowling, riding her moped, and shopping at flea markets and garage sales. She especially enjoyed her time with her family.
The daughter, of Clarence and Oma (Beavers) Vance, she born on February 4, 1933, in Custar, Ohio. She married Keith C. Tritch on December 16, 1952, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death August 21, 2010.
Survivors include nieces and nephews Darold Borton, of Osseo, Michigan, Karen Jackson, of Fort Worth, Texas, Currine (Rodney) Laukhuf, of Montpelier and Donald Borton, of Parma, Michigan and numerous great-nephews and nieces. She was also preceded in death by parents, and one sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Harold Borton.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Kathleen M. “Kitty” Tritch will be held on Friday, September 21 2018, at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio with Reverend Daniel Coutz officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Visitation will be held hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, in the funeral home.
