Kay C. Bleikamp, age 60, of Alvordton, Ohio, passed away at 3:00 A.M. on Monday, June 20, 2016 at her home. Kay worked as a STNA and Medicaid biller for AmeriCare and had worked at Metal Forge, Trim Trends and Cornerstone Interiors. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bryan and had been a member of the Williams County Mounted Sheriff Department from 2000-2003. She loved horseback riding and spending time with her family.
Kay was born on January 26, 1956, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Woodrow W. and Betty I. (Perry) Sheets. She married Bruce Bleikamp on August 5, 1995, and he survives.
Kay is also survived by her daughters, Jennifer Benner and Lisa (Tyson) Shankster, both of Montpelier; grandchildren, Tyler and Dakota Benner, Austin Mahoney, Brady Shankster, Meaghan Creamer, Breelynn, Braxton and Bailey Shankster; brothers, Wayne (Sue Ann) Sheets, of Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania, Wilson Sheets, of Edon and Harold Sheets, Springboro, Pennsylvania and sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Woodrow, of Meadville, Pennsylvania and Meta (Tony) Fitzenrider, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond and Kenny Sheets.
Visitation for Kay C. Bleikamp will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Burial will follow the service at Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity.
