Kim L. Moore, 65

Kim L. Moore, age 65, of Bryan, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at his home. Kim retired from the Thornton, Colorado Police Department as a Senior Patrol Officer after 30 years of service. He was also a US Navy veteran having served 4 years as a corpsman. Kim was an avid fisherman and reader. He was a member of the Thornton Police Department F.O.P #16.

Kim L. Moore was born on September 30, 1952, in Bowling Green, Ohio, the son of Harold G. and Arlene R. (Fenstermaker) Moore. He married Elaine M. Lingvai on October 7, 2005 in Bryan, and she survives. Kim is also survived by his children, Gabriel (Lori) Moore, of Commerce City, Colorado, Jeremy (Tiffany) Moore, of Jacksonville, Florida, Megan (Eric) Feola, of Denver, Colorado, Jamie (Adam) Hazelton, of Defiance, Darrell (Amy) Tygart, of Northglenn, Colorado, Marie (Cecil) Hitzges, of Broomfield, Colorado and Diedre Tygart, of Denver; 16 grandchildren; a great grandson; sister, Colleen Eisemann, of Fort Wayne; brother, Craig (Diane) Moore, of Thornton, Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering celebrating Kim’s life will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Olinger-Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:15 P.M.
