The drug is Naloxone, brand name Narcan, and the company said last week they’ll begin selling the drug over the counter starting today. Kroger is joining other pharmacies in selling the drug that reverses the effects of an opiod overdose. Other pharmacies include Rite-Aid, Walgreens, and CVS.
