Kunkle man sentenced on multiple charges in Williams and Fulton County courts

41 year old Jade Herzog of Kunkle, was sentenced Monday following a six-day crime spree that spanned five counties in three states with multiple vehicle thefts, a home invasion, two high-speed pursuits and one damaged patrol car. The crimes culminated in his arrest on Jan. 1 following a dangerous police pursuit. In Williams County, Herzog had been charged with six counts of felony grand theft auto, one count of burglary and one count of felonious assault on a police officer. In Fulton County on Friday, Herzog pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, identity fraud, failure to comply with an order from a police officer and vandalism. The judge there sentenced him to four and a half years in prison. The sentences will be served concurrently and Herzog will have to pay restitution to his victims. According to Williams County Prosecutor Katie Zartman, he pleaded guilty to the Williams County charges all at once.
