KURT ZUVER
September 20, 1965 — May 7, 2025
In 4.7 seconds, you hit those streets of gold
The Northwest Ohio Drag-Street Legend,
Or so we’ve all been told
We could use this space to list your jobs
And all the things you did
But you never cared about that crap
It only mattered how you lived
True to your convictions,
Unwavering, relentless and bold
Never a hidden agenda-
“If that’s what you think – then that’s what you’re told”
You could talk to people for hours
Exchanging only the best advice –
Not many a problem would stump you
“Just try it once and don’t ask twice”
Your family and friends your honor
Your loyal Jaygo by your side
It’s burnouts and black marks in Heaven
And that nitros throttle is open WIDE
Defeat was not your fate
Your earthly conflict yet no more
You never lost a battle;
Brother — you won the war
Written in your honor; your loving sister, Lisa
