Surviving are his three children, Tim (Stephanie) Zartman of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Ronald (Brenda Shepherd) Zartman of Plymouth, Indiana and Bruce (Winje) Zartman of Waverly, Alabama; five grandchildren, Bridgette Smith, Amber (Ambra Reilly) Zartman, Megan (Chance) Roberts, Brenna (Thomas) Flowers and Josh Zartman; two great-grandchildren, Jayson Zartman and Ashlyn Beck; bonus grandchildren, Amaya Boyd, Alysha Boyd, Kelsey (Josh) Kaufman, Lauren (Aiden) Guidry and Fay Barbour; two siblings, Edith Mills of Payne, Ohio and Lenny Zartman of Van Wert, Ohio He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; five sisters, Kate Fegley, Denene Yenser, Hilda Lyons, Olive Dinger and Jenny Hoaglin; four brothers, John Zartman, Harold “Bud” Zartman, Jake Zartman and Bill Zartman.
Visitation for Larry Zartman will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 9, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Sherwood Methodist Church, 512 North Harrison Street, Sherwood where funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon, with Pastors Boyd Shugert and Kevin Doseck officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Sherwood VFW Post 5665, Hicksville American Legion Post 223 and the Farmer American Legion Post 137.
