Lee E. Kallsen, 84

Lee E. Kallsen, age 84, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Kallsen was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1955-1959 as an electrician. Throughout his work career Lee worked for B.F. Goodrich, was a manager of special projects at Automation Devices Incorporated, sold life insurance for Prudential, was a manufacturers representative, and then started his own business, Kallsen Associates, which he retired from in 2014. He was active in Masonic life as a member of Hicksville Lodge #478, Zenobia Shrine of Toledo, and Bryan Chapter of Royal Arch Masons. He loved music and played guitar at Roosters in Butler, Indiana and later with the Tuesday Night Jammers for a number of years. He attended Emanuel United Methodist Church near Edgerton.

Lee E. Kallsen was born on September 26, 1936, in Cumberland, Wisconsin, the son of Leonard R. and Hazel M. (Smith) Kallsen. He married Mary Lou Kelley on January 13, 1962, in Hicksville, Ohio, and she survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, David (Janet) Kallsen, Tony (Jennifer) Kallsen, and Wesley Kallsen; three grandchildren; one brother, Carl Kallsen; two half brothers, Leonard Kallsen, and Jack Kallsen; and two half sisters, Eva and Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cindy Lou Kallsen, two sisters, Jean Friend and “Ronnie” Shipman; and a half sister, Florence Foust.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, followed by masonic services at 7:00 P.M. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Tom Ketzler officiating. The family will also receive visitors for one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Following services all are invited to the Knight of Columbus Hall in Edgerton for a time of food, fellowship and music.
