Lelah J. Davis, age 60, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 5:35 A.M. on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center, where she was a patient, surrounded by her loved ones. She had worked for five years as a dietary aide at Defiance Hospital and then worked for nearly twenty-one years at Wendy’s in Bryan. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a lifelong member of the Moose, both in Defiance, Ohio. She loved to collect Harry Potter memorabilia and enjoyed going to garage sales, as well as the Thrift Store every Monday and Friday.
Lelah was born on June 17, 1955, in Defiance, Ohio, and graduated from Antwerp High School in 1973. She married Ronnie L. Davis on December 1, 1979, in Defiance and he survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Denise Davis, of Edgerton, Ohio, Nicki (Emilio) Cuenca, of Bryan, and Jamie (David) Harris, also of Edgerton; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Jacob, Toby and Lance; three great-grandchildren, Gunnur, Star and Lelah; one sister, Susan (David) Leaman, of Defiance; one brother, Timothy (Lynne) Roehrig, of Paulding, Ohio; and her mother, Della Morgan, of Defiance. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kaleb Tussing, her maternal grandmother, Winnifred Erman, her maternal grandfather, Donald Pierce, and her uncle, Daniel H. Pierce.
Grave side funeral services for Lelah J. Davis will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Brown Cemetery with Pastor David W. Brobston officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
