LeRoy H. Zuver, 84, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. LeRoy was born August 9, 1937, in West Unity, Ohio, the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Ratledge) Zuver. He attended West Unity High School. He married Edna “Susie” Schmidt, and that marriage ended in divorce. He then married Davonna M. Sullivan on October 22, 1974, and she survives. LeRoy worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and welder for Miller Bros. Construction, and then owned and operated Zuver Lawnmower Repair after moving to Three Rivers, Texas. In his free time, LeRoy enjoyed working with his hands, and playing cards and Dominos.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Davonna M. Zuver of Bryan, Ohio; eight children, Debra (Jerry) Nelson of West Unity, Ohio, Diane (Dave) Barnum of Stryker, Ohio, Daniel (Lisa) Zuver of West Unity, Ohio, Dena (Terry) Filip of West Unity, Ohio, Dawn (Ed) Bakle of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Duane (Cassy) Zuver of LaGrange, Indiana, Denise Zuver of West Unity, Ohio, and Laura Zuver of Beeville, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Edna “Susie” Zuver; one son, David Zuver; two brothers; and one sister.
To honor LeRoy’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
