Lets Get Trottin

It’s time for the Turkey Trot over in Defiance! For the 21st year the Defiance Lions Club hosts the event. The four-mile run and a fun walk, will be held at Independence Dam State Park, east of Defiance. The fee for the fundraiser is $35 for runners and $20 for walkers. Those who preregistered can pick up their T-shirt the morning of the race. Prizes will be awarded after the run. Proceeds from the Lions Club race will benefit the organization’s efforts to supply eyeglasses to those in need, among other services.
