Lila Schott, 90

Lila “Annabelle” (Bonecutter) Schott, age 90, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, where she was a patient. Mrs. Schott was a 1942 graduate of Butler, Indiana, High School, was a homemaker, was a longtime employee of the Edgerton Locker and had worked in the deli at Chief Supermarket in Bryan for seven years. She was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle and the Farm Bureau Council.

Lila “Annabelle” Schott was born on November 25, 1924, in DeKalb County, Indiana, near Butler, the daughter of Jesse C. and Mabel C. (Konst) Bonecutter. She married Carmen Schott on May 25, 1946, in Waterloo, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1969.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma Schott, of Wilsonville, Oregon, and Donna (Ron) Ehinger, of Monroeville, Indiana; one son, Randall Schott, of Toledo, Ohio; four grandchildren, Corey (Ann) Ehinger, Caitlyn Ehinger, Callie Ehinger and Laura (Justin) Schott-Wolvert; one great-granddaughter,Gracen Schott-Wolvert; two brothers, Clare (Joan) Bonecutter, of Butler, and Maurice (Dorothy) Bonecutter, of Auburn, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews around the country. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Christian Schott, one brother, Paul Bonecutter; and three sisters, Mareta Mutzfeld, Lois Bennett and Jessta Trethric.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.

Memorials are requested to Breast Cancer Research at the Mayo Clinic or to a Humane Society of the donor’s choice.
