An application to sell beer, wine and mixed beverages and allow sales on Sunday at the Unity Mini Mart in West Unity is on the Nov. 8 ballot. The application by store owners Saneholtz McKarns Inc., on behalf of the Unity Mini Mart at 205 W. Jackson St., is for C-1, C-2 and D-6 permits. A C-1 permit is for beer only, in the original sealed container, for carry-out only; a C-2 permit is for wine and mixed beverages in sealed containers for carry-out; and a D-6 permit allows the “sale of intoxicating liquor on Sunday between the hours of 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. and midnight.” The question is on the ballot for voters in Precinct 8 in the village of West Unity only.
