Williams County Commissioners give the OK to purchase a machine, made here, that cleans and sterilizes protective facial masks. And…anyone who needs it…can use it. The machine is made by Daavlin, over on West Bement Street in Bryan. The device uses ultraviolet germicidal irradiation to sterilize personal protective equipment, such as facial masks, so they can be reused. Daavlin employees have been putting in extra hours to keep up with the sudden spike in demand from customers, all over.
