Local Representation For National Walkout Expected

A national school walkout is planned for March 14, with students at some area schools taking part. The Women’s March’s Youth EMPOWER group is organizing the walkout. The group is asking that at 10 a.m. in every time zone, teachers, students, administrators and parents to walk out for 17 minutes…one for every person killed at the school shooting in Florida earlier this month.
