Local Woman Nabbed On Drug Charge After Anonymous Tip

It was an anony­mous tip that lead to the arrest of a local woman who was already wanted on one war­rant, on four other charges. 26 year old Lacey Hayes of West Unity was at a home on West Church Street, when some­one called West Unity Police to tip them off on her where­abouts. Deputies rushed in and grabbed her. Now, in addi­tion to her ear­lier trou­bles, Hayes is being charged with aggra­vated heroin pos­ses­sion and traf­fick­ing in drugs.

She was taken into cus­tody and is now behind bars at the Cor­rec­tions Cen­ter of North­west Ohio.
