Locals recently made a concerted effort to aid in fire recovery in midwest

Locals recently made a concerted effort to help those affected by wildfires in Kansas, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma. The four states’ numerous ranches and farms bore a heavy portion of the damage, so Ohioans all over the state have stepped up to the plate, helping to provide fencing, hay and milk replacer for orphaned calves to help ranchers make it through what Kansas officials are calling the state’s worst ever fires. Superior Farm Supply in Montpelier is one of the many hubs of donation efforts doing its part across the nation. Last week, from Thursday to Friday, Superior collected monetary donations from all over the country via credit card and advertised via social media which helped buy 21 bags of milk replacer worth over $400 with the pledged funds.
