Low turnout for entertainment blamed for fair losses

The lat­est num­bers on the Williams County Fair were turned in and low atten­dance for the two main enter­tain­ment acts are being blamed for a loss of over $17,000 for this year’s fair.
Agri­cul­ture Soci­ety Audi­tor Robin Brine­gar told the Ag Soci­ety that despite pay­ing dou­ble on adver­tis­ing than the pre­vi­ous year, atten­dance was down slightly.
