Loyetta May Mikesell, 81 years, of Bryan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2013 in her home. Loyetta was born January 24, 1932 in Goshen, Indiana, the daughter of the late Marion and Trues (Cox) White. She married Eugene Mikesell on August 20, 1960 in Goshen, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1995. Loyetta was a clerk working at the Burger Dairy Store for 26 years. She enjoyed home decorating, spending time with her family and friends. She also had a rooster collection.
Surviving are her children, Sandra (Russell) Harrington of Bryan and Ty (Juli Hanshaw) Mikesell of Stryker; stepson, David Mikesell of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Marilla (Zac) Chmielewski of Bryan, Murphy Harrington of Bryan, Derek Mikesell of Bryan, Megan Mikesell of Stryker, Jason Mikesell of Connecticut and Jessica Mikesell of Chicago; one brother, John D. (Judy) Arnold of Lexington, Kentucky.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan.
