Man Caught After Fleeing Police in 3 States

A man who eluded police in three states was finally stopped in Hills­dale County when spike strips were used to dis­able his vehi­cle. 37-year-old Gabriel Gam­bler and his pas­sen­ger tossed drugs out the win­dow while run­ning from police in Williams County and Steuben County before being appre­hended. Gam­bler has already pled guilty to charges in Hills­dale County and is await­ing extra­di­tion to Williams County for an August 24 hear­ing. No charges are pend­ing in Steuben County.
