Margaret H. Wieland, age 83, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 12:20 A.M. on Friday, May 20, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. Margaret was a homemaker. She had worked at Ohio Art prior to starting her family and at Airmate in Bryan after her children were grown. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Christian Women United Thrift Store in Bryan. She was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233, was an avid golfer and enjoyed casino trips and playing the lottery. She enjoyed most of all keeping up with her grandchildren and loved cooking.
Born on October 19, 1932, in Defiance County, Ohio, she was the daughter of George and Theresa (Asztalos) Sito. She was a graduate of Stryker High School. On November 4, 1950, she married Calvin J. “John” Wieland in Williams Center and he survives in Bryan. Margaret is also survived by her children, Edward (Carolyn) Wieland, of Colleyville, Texas, Pat Severence of Bryan, and Jeffrey Wieland, of Antwerp, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Chuck, Trisha, Christina, Gregory, Timothy, Shayla and Trinity; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe (Ethel) Sito, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, Steve and Julius Sito; infant sister, Margaret Sito; sisters, Mary Ankney, Theresa Nagy and Elizabeth Mihuc; and a half sister, Irene Sule.
Visitation for Margaret H. Wieland will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 10:00-11:30 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation, at 11:30 A.M., with Reverend Becky Schofield Motter officiating.
