Margaret M. Reed, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:56 A.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan after a brief illness. Mrs. Reed was employed as a nurses’ aide at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, retiring with more than thirty years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Blakeslee, Ohio.
Margaret M. Reed was born on February 11, 1941, in Karlsruhe, North Dakota, the daughter of Wedlin and Scholastica (Dorscher) Bachmeier. She married Harvey E. Reed on May 27, 1961, in Devils Lake, North Dakota, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1994.
Survivors include five daughters, Colleen Sutton, of West Unity, Ohio, Lisa Lovejoy, of Conneautville, Pennsylvania, Valerie (Doug) Marker, of Auburn, Indiana, Peggy Reed, of Bryan, and Donna (Uwe) Richter, also of Bryan; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, her twin, Martin (Mary) Bachmeier, of Doraville, Georgia, and Conrad Bachmeier, of Roseburg, Oregon; and four sisters, Kay Brossart, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Eva Walker, of Maryville, Washington, Agnes Ray, of Birchtree, Missouri, and Joey (Al Cochran) Akers, of Hanover, Indiana. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Keith Belknap.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016, at 10:30 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Reverend Daniel Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Blakeslee.
