Marijuana Clinic Update

After receiving public comments to draft medical marijuana dispensary districts, the State Board of Pharmacy finalized the districts that will be used for the application process later this year. The state is divided into the four quadrants that comprise the board’s compliance regions. Williams County is one of 24 counties in the Northwest Region, which stretches south to Mercer County and east to Ashland County. The region is further divided into districts. Northwest District 1 includes Williams, Fulton and Defiance counties. The district is allotted one dispensary. Locations and operators of medical marijuana dispensaries have not been decided. The program is set to begin in 2018.
