Maura P. Pike, age 86, of Bryan, died at 10:43 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Pike was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting. Her children and granddaughter, were her life.
Maura was born on March 8, 1931, in Hortland Donadea, County Kildare, Ireland, the daughter of Thomas and Annie (O’Connor) Yallop. She married Dewey Pike in 1964 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1998.
Maura is survived by her daughter, Susan Hantz, of Hamilton, Indiana; son, Kim Olsen, of Bryan and granddaughter, Maura Rebecca Hantz, of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Cynthia “Becky” Jessup.
Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, on Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Randy Oser officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
