MEETING IN NEY ENDS WITH NOTHING ACCOMPLISHED ON AT LEAST ONE ISSUE

The Ney Village Council met on Wednesday to discuss what to do with the village’s old maintenance building and whether to put it up for bids. The meeting, as far as that decision is concerned, accomplished nothing, as nothing whatsoever was decided.

In other business, Council also learned the village general fund is currently down to $43,000, its lowest figure in quite some time.

The village water tower will be inspected on May 28th, when the lights on top of the tower will be replaced.

Council also heard a request from a local resident who asked council to determine whether he is living in residentially-zoned property.
