METH MAKER CAUGHT

A man who police already wanted for fail­ure to appear now faces new charges.

32 year old David Zer­vos is now accused of mak­ing meth near Sil­ver Lake.

Just before mid­night on Christ­mas night, Steuben County Sheriff’s deputies and offi­cers from the Angola Police Depart­ment went to a home in rural Pleas­ant Town­ship look­ing for Zer­vos who was wanted out of Steuben County on the war­rant.

When they found him, they smelled a strong chem­i­cal odor. AFter obtain­ing a search war­rant, sev­eral items com­monly asso­ci­ated with mak­ing of metham­phet­a­mine were found.

Zer­vos was held with­out bond pend­ing an ini­tial court appearance.
