Michael Degler, Sr., 53

Michael L. Degler, Sr. age 53, of Tedrow, Ohio died early Wednesday morning, June 24, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1962 in Napoleon, Ohio to Melvin L. and Patsy (Spitler) Degler. He married Peggy Ferreira and she survives. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Tedrow Church. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, anything mechanical with cars, and his grand kids.

Survivors include, his wife Peggy (Ferreira) Degler, of Tedrow. Children, Kimberly Parsons, Fayette. Michael Degler, Jr. Napoleon, Krystal (Todd Tussinger, II) Ramos, Wauseon, Ohio, Dixie Degler, Napoleon, Ohio, Kyle (Seneca Perry) Martin, Wauseon, Kruz (Megan Stites) Elliott, Fayette. Mother, Patsy Degler. Grandmother, Bina Spitler. Grandchildren, Todd Tussinger, III, Kaidence Mendoza, Lena Gorsuch, Ariah Tussinger, Chance Elliott, Kember Martin, Cash Elliott, Lacey Perry, Paige Parsons, Garrett Parsons, and one grandchild due in November. Brother, Marc (Marcela) Degler. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Darlene Ferreira, Dan (Jayne) Ferreira, Lynda Ferriera-Arquette, Rita (John) Garza, Delle (Patty) Ferreira, Dave Ferreira. Father-in-law, Adolfo Ferreira. Aunts, Rosemary (Gene) Little, Ruth (Joe) Bassett, Terry (Jim) Mt.Castle. Uncle, Dave Spitler. Numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin L. Degler, a son, Kurtis Elliott, a grand-daughter, MacKenzie Armstrong,a brother, Marty Degler, and his mother-in-law, Guadalupe Ferreira.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Pentecostals of Tedrow Church, Main Street, Tedrow, Ohio. Rev. Kevin Cochran and Pastor Rafael Leija officiating. Interment will follow in Tedrow Cemetery. Funeral luncheon will follow interment in Tedrow United Methodist Church. Friends may call 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, Ohio.
