Michele M. Wilson, 74 years, formerly of Ottawa, Ohio and of Vandalia, Ohio passed Saturday, May 16, 2020 at her son’s residence in Hicksville, Ohio. She was born March 12, 1946 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul M. and Elizabeth (Gladfelder) Foley. She was a 1964 graduate. Michele married Rodney L. Wilson on June 22, 2002 in Indiana. She worked at Schultz Homes where she met her husband. Michele and Rodney attended Family Christian Center, Defiance. She was a member of a women’s bible study and she enjoyed spending time with them. In her free time, Michele could be found playing cards or doing puzzles. She was known for her baking, especially cheesecake and cookies. Michele loved her family and would make blankets for her children and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband, Rodney Wilson of Vandalia, Ohio; seven children, Deborah (Ray) Auguirre of Kalida, Ohio, George Fulghum of South Carolina, Paul (Gina) Fulghum of Vandalia, Ohio, Susan (Eric) Layton of Indianapolis, Indiana, Laura Sheppard of Findlay, Ohio, Lynn (Jamie) Arnett of St. Petersburg, Florida and Ryan (Kelly) Wilson of Hicksville, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one brother, John (Cindy) Foley of Lake Station, Indiana.
To honor Michele’s wishes there will be no visitation and the family will hold a family memorial service at a later date. Arrangements by Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
The family asks those remembering Michele to make memorial contributions to a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
