A Williams County grand jury met Wednesday and returned indictments against nine people, including a Michigan man who is now facing charges of aggravated vehicular assault, and OVI endangering children. 37 year old Fidencio Monroy-Villeda is alleged to have caused serious physical harm to a woman when he crashed a pickup while intoxicated. The victim, a passenger in the vehicle, suffered serious injuries including broken bones.
The child endangering charge stems from a child who was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. According to the indictment, Monroy-Villeda had a .097 blood-alcohol level.
