Mitchell D. Strock, 56 years, formerly of California, currently of Paulding, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance. Mitchell was born September 5, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late George O. and Helen J. (Hawk) Strock. He worked at various bicycle shops, most recently at Performance Bicycle in California as a shop supervisor. Mitchell enjoyed building custom mountain bikes and listening to music.
Surviving are his four sisters, Deb (Steve) Plummer of Paulding, Ohio, Cher Coburn of Kendallville, Indiana, Becky (Tim) Robison of Okeechobee, Florida, Bambi Strock, and two nieces. Mithcell was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Fritz Coburn.
There will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
