Mobile Home Burns In Defiance

Crews from four Defi­ance County depart­ments were called out to fight a fire at a mobile home on Tues­day evening.

The call for help came in from the trailer on lot 33 along Ohio 15, just across from the Defi­ance County Air­port a lit­tle after 10:30 Tues­day night.

When fire­fight­ers arrived, the trailer was fully engulfed in flames. Every­one liv­ing there was able to get out safely, and no one was hurt.

That fire remains under inves­ti­ga­tion.

Defi­ance, Jew­ell and South Rich­land fire depart­ments responded, pro­vid­ing mutual aid.
