Pioneer Railcorp gets 4.1 million dollars to invest in some infrastructure projects for the Napoleon, Defiance & Western Railway Co. Senators, Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown announce the award…as part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s 2020 Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements grant round. The award will fund 50% of project costs…to replace 10 miles of steel rail and 29,000 ties…along 29 miles of track.
