Murder Trial Delayed

A mur­der trial in Steuben County Court has been delayed for a sec­ond time.

The jury trial of 41-year-old Kenny Rogers Fletcher has been re-scheduled from Octo­ber 27th to Jan­u­ary 26th.

The new trial date marks the sec­ond delay in the trial. Fletcher is charged with the stab­bing death almost a year ago of 39-year-old Wilber Ren­shaw in Angola.

Fletcher has pleaded not guilty, say­ing he was act­ing in self-defense dur­ing the attack on Ren­shaw, who died after he was stabbed sev­eral times.
