Nancy Jean Byrd, 71

Nancy Jean Byrd, 71, of Pioneer, died Wednesday night at home.  She was born on December 16, 1941 in Pittsford Michigan to Hubert L. and Isabelle M. (Bump) Flowers.

Nancy retired from Pioneer Transformer in Pioneer in 2008.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends and lived her life to the fullest.  Nancy was also an avid card player.

She is survived by her two sons Robert (Charlotte) Fuller of Pioneer and Rodney (Barbara) Fuller of Alvordton, daughter-in law Teresa Fuller of Pioneer; brother Hubert (Penny) Flowers of Clark Lake, Michigan; six sisters Beverly Baxter, Jean Ankney, Phyllis Knootz, Ann(Richard) Murphy and Barbara (Ronald) Richardson; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; and good friend Willie Spencer.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sons James Fuller and Randy Fuller, daughter Christina Lillard, sister Betty Wright and stepfather Ray Beckman.

Visitation hours for Nancy will be on Friday May 10th from 5-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer.  Services will be held on Saturday at 11am at the funeral home with Reverend Michael Raypholtz to officiate.  Interment will follow at Waldron Cemetery in Waldron Michigan.  Donations may be made to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties or Williams County Cancer Assistance.  Online condolences can be made at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
