Napoleon Says NO To Outsourcing, For Now

Napoleon council, after months of talking about the pros and cons of it, has agreed not to outsource its city dispatch services to Henry County.

Napoleon placed the issue on the May primary election ballot seeking the opinion of voters. The issue was defeated with 68 percent of voters voting against the outsourcing of dispatch operations.

At this week’s meetin, council approved a motion stating that at this time, they would not outsource police dispatch operations to the county. They did however, leave the door open to further discussion down the road.
