Nazaria T. Gomez, 81 years, of Stryker, Ohio departed her home on earth to her new home Far Beyond the Sun, on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in her residence peacefully, with her family at her side after a brief illness. Nazaria was born July 28, 1934 in Beeville, Texas, the daughter of the late Marcelino and Petra (Tumguma) Gomez. She worked for Sauder Manufacturing for 24 years before retiring. After her retirement, Nazaria enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling to Texas and Utah to visit her family.
Feeling this deep loss are her four children, Gloria G. Esquibel of Stryker, and Dora G. Lawson of Roy, Utah, who were her caregivers during her brief illness, Frank G. Esquibel, Jr. of Bryan and LeeAndrew G. (Ana) Esquibel of Archbold; three grandchildren, Tiffany Lawson of Layton, Utah, Briana and Andrew Miles Esquibel of Archbold; two great grandchildren. Also feeling the empty space in their hearts are her two sisters, Marcelina G. Cardenas of San Antonio, Texas and Angelina G. Lopez of San Marcos, Texas and one brothers, Bernardino G. (Sally) Gomez or Tecumseh, Michigan. Waiting in Heaven are her parents, Marcelino and Petra Gomez, two brothers, Petro T. Gomez and baby, Juan T. Gomez.
Visitation for Nazaria T. Gomez will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home – Greensien Chapel, 225 East High Street, Bryan where memorial services for Nazaria T. Gomez will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 with Pastors Mario Reyes and Eunice Robles Reyes officiating. Leading in song will be Benjamin R. Esquibel and Isreal Lerma. Inurnment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be LeeAndrew G. Esquibel, Frank G. Esquibel, Jr., Dora G. Lawson and Gloria G. Esquibel.
