New Williams County Prosecutor Officially Named

Williams County now has a new pros­e­cu­tor. Ear­lier this week, the Williams County Repub­li­can Party Cen­tral Com­mit­tee voted unan­i­mously to put 32 year old Kather­ine Zart­man in the posi­tion on a full-time basis.

Zart­man has served as county assis­tant pros­e­cu­tor since 2008, and has served as interim pros­e­cu­tor since the res­ig­na­tion on July 2nd of for­mer county pros­e­cu­tor Kirk Yosick. Zart­man, along with her hus­band Adam, live in Bryan. Her salary in her new posi­tion will be set at $104,000 annually.
