Nina S. Fellers, 74, of Defiance, Ohio, and former resident of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2024, in her residence.  Nina was born October 6, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, to Marie Hawkins.  She was a 1968 graduate of Waite High School.  Nina married Theodore Jablonski in 1969, and their marriage ended in 1978.  She married Dennis R. Fellers in 1986, and their marriage ended in 1998.  Though both of her marriages ended, Nina remained close friends with Theodore and Dennis over the years.  She retired from Midwest Stamping in 2009, after 19 years of service, and before that worked as a waitress at Java Hut and as a cashier at the Ohio Gas Station, both in Hicksville.  Nina was an avid animal lover and spent much time and resources caring for her cats and dogs, and also of those in the neighborhood.  She also enjoyed traveling, listening to music and dancing.

Surviving are her three children, Terence Jablonski of Defiance, Cheryl (Ben King) Jablonski of Defiance, and Eric (Tabitha Hatfield) Fellers of Defiance, six grandchildren, Tommy (Melissa) Larry, Christopher (Kasey) Larry, Jerome Johnson, Brianna Bibler, Ryder Bibler and Oaklyn Fellers; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kailyn and Carson; sister, Joanne (Michael) Hicks of Cadillac, Michigan; and former husband, Theodore Jablonski of Defiance.  Nina was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Dennis R. Fellers; and four siblings, Bob Hawkins, Bill Hawkins, twins Ray Hawkins and Ronnie Hawkins.

Visitation for Nina S. Fellers will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Celebrant Patricia Peter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
