Nolan K. “Red” Sprague, 68

Nolan K. “Red” Sprague, 68, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at CHP Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.  Nolan was born September 20, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of the late Thomas and Joan (Weibke) Sprague.  He attended Blue Creek Schools in Paulding County, Ohio.  Nolan worked in production at General Motors Powertrain Foundry in Defiance, retiring in 1996.  In his free time, he enjoyed watching television. Nolan loved a good party and will be missed by his friends.

Nolan is survived by his brother, Lloyd (Sandy) Sprague of Bryan, Ohio; his sister, Glenna (George) Scheer of Washington; six nieces and nephews; Robert (Sarah) Sprague of Defiance, James (Jenny) Sprague of Hicksville, Miranda (Ben) Harris of Montpelier, Jill (Derek) Kline of Defiance, Joseph King of Indiana and Charity Hernandez of Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kathy King; a niece, Joy Kinder.

Visitation for Nolan K. “Red” Sprague will be held Monday, August 28, 2023, from 10:00AM –12:00 Noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm St., Sherwood, Ohio. Funeral services for Nolan will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Ben Harris officiating.  Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery.
