Norma J. Stoll, 89

Norma J. Stoll, age 89, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 3:56 A.M. on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a patient. Mrs. Stoll was a 1945 graduate of Edgerton High School and was a devoted farm wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb, producing beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, and was a great cook known for her wonderful holiday family meals. Norma had a sense of adventure and enjoyed experiencing new things while traveling. She was a devoted follower of Christ and supporter of the missions, often playing host to numerous missionary families throughout the years. She and her husband were also members of the Tri-township Farm Bureau Council for many years.

Norma J. Stoll was born on June 16, 1927, near Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Oscar William amd Iva (Bruot) Close. She married her husband of seventy-years, Richard C. Stoll, on May 4, 1947, near Edgerton and he survives.

Survivors also include three sons, James (Marcella) Stoll, of Edgerton, Don (Janet) Stoll, of Mundelein, Illinois, and Paul (Penny) Stoll, of Edon, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Sue) Close, of Edgerton; and two sisters, Donna Hancock, of Stryker, Ohio, and Shirley (David) Hancock, of Santa Barbara, California. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. in the Bryan Alliance Church with Pastor Larry Carey officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
