Norma Jean Siebert, 68

Norma Jean Siebert, 68 years, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at The Inns at Fountain Park, Bryan.  Norma was born June 25, 1946 in Frankfort, Indiana, the daughter of the late William G. “Gib” and Alice E. (Cruea) Weaver.  Norma was a waitress at the former Colonial Manor Restaurant as well as Lester’s Diner.  She also was a clerk at Dollar General, retiring in 1994 due to a disability.  Norma found great joy in going to the Bryan Senior Center, playing bingo, working crossword puzzles, going out to eat Chinese food, but she really enjoyed her trips to Nashville with her family.

Surviving are her six children, Bryon Martin and his companion Velvet Henricks of Edgerton, Natalie Degryse of Bryan, Mary Martin of Angola, Indiana, DeAnna (James) Zachrich of Defiance, Jason Siebert of Bryan and Alicia Siebert also of Bryan, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Cassidy of Bryan; three brothers, Bob (Virginia) Weaver, Bill (Mary) Weaver and Bernard (Lynette) Weaver, all of Frankfort, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Rose Meives of Peru, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Christina Martin, one brother, Ernest Meives and one brother-in-law, Richard Cassidy.

Visitation for Norma Jean Siebert will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan where her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 with Pastor Fred Brandon officiating.  Interment will be private.
