On January 28, 2023, Norrina Ann Rogers received her angel wings. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. When she was a teenager she realized her talent as an artist, she also enjoyed watching and learning from her mother how to decorate cakes and enjoyed making many cakes over the years. Her hobbies include going to casinos and playing cards. She never met a stranger and she loved everyone and made an impact in their life somehow. She has many brothers and sisters, even though many lived far away, she still held a place in her heart for each and everyone of them.
Norinna is survived by her four children, Michael (Janeen) Rogers, Clifford (Crystal) Rogers, Jr., Toby Spicer all of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Luna (Shannon) Rogers of Hicksville, Ohio; two granddaughters, Amy and Angel Rogers; 11 sisters, Rhonda (Philip) Guzowski, Mae (Stanley) Gibson, Karla (Ernie) Howard, Jennifer (Jack Fraley, Jr.) Wroblewski, Sheela (Christine Bowen) Horton, Traci (Bill Tebalt) Feathers, Jackie (Marty) Learn, Dawn Wicker, Angel (Floyd) Dalton, Kelly (Joseph) Tokarczyk, and Theresa (Glenn) Poeppel; five brothers, Brian (Sue) Horton, John (Lana) Horton, Rick (Judygayle) Feathers, James (Lisa) Wicker, and Timmy (Jenny) Pliett; numerous nieces and nephews. Norrina is preceded in death by her parents, William Lewis Horton and Barbara Lee Pliett (Ochrang); two husbands, Chancy Max Betz and Clifford William Rogers, Sr.; stepmother, Sandra Feathers; stepfather, Elmer Pliett; daughter, Christina Spicer; fiancé, John White; sister, Rita Pliett.
A memorial service celebrating Norrina’s life will be held at a later date at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home to defray funeral cost.
