NSCC Board Holds Retreat

The North­west State Com­mu­nity Col­lege Board of Trustees held a board retreat and reg­u­lar meet­ing on Fri­day. Dur­ing the meet­ing, Dr. Michael Wolfe, dean of busi­ness at NSCC, gave a pre­sen­ta­tion on the newly formed Dean’s Lead­er­ship Clus­ter.

In other action, the board Approved the res­ig­na­tion of Erika Rufe­nacht and retire­ment of Donna Her­sh­berger;

Approved the employ­ment of Cassie Rick­en­berg, admin­is­tra­tive assis­tant to the vice pres­i­dent for aca­d­e­mics and stu­dent ser­vices; Michael Black, dean of stu­dent ser­vices; and Thomas Kelly, advanced man­u­fac­tur­ing train­ing coor­di­na­tor; Pro­moted Jody Glasser to full-time cook, Andrea McIn­tosh to full-time cus­to­dian and Amanda Potts to direc­tor of admis­sions; Approved mis­cel­la­neous employ­ment con­tracts; and Approved a pol­icy for sup­port and assis­tance to vet­er­ans and ser­vice members.
